An Ontology of True Love

The nature of true love is mysterious but simple. I start by clarifying what love does and does not do, and what love is and is not. The purest way to practice true love is by allowing people to be themselves around you. Love is about the freedom to express and realise our authentic thoughts and desires. By providing the space for people to be vulnerable, we can simultaneously accelerate their healing, personal growth and development. When we take time to empathise with people and listen to them with compassion instead of judgement, they will be empowered to speak the truth about their experiences. This truth will be the root source of their freedom and spiritual healing. True love is at the heart of all personal development efforts, and it demands that we incorporate most of the very well-known principles of effectiveness and efficiency such as discipline, commitment and consistency.

The greatest asset we possess is the quality of our relationships with everything and everyone, including ourselves. I fall in love with souls and not faces. When you love someone properly, you bring out the magic in them. True love can be expressed by speaking life into someone when they are down. Being loved breeds confidence in the one who feels loved. It generates internal energy within the recipient that gives them the courage to take risks and live their best life knowing that they are supported. Love is not what…
