
Every time I destroy my life and reach the bottom of the well, I rediscover and heal myself in solitude. When I lose my way in life, I find myself in solitude. Solitude is always the first place that I run to for safety when the injuries of the world become life-threatening. I have also discovered that there is a powerful healer that permanently resides in solitude. He has been my healer and he is me. This article is based on my experiences of solitude. I decided to visit solitude more often so I can get as close to myself as possible.
Defining Solitude
Solitude is a place of rest from the storms of life and can also be described as a place of healing for the severely devastated spirit and the serial broken-hearted. It is a deep, dark cave where inner peace, faith, healing and self-discovery reside permanently. The further we enter this cave, the greater the distance from the entrance and the darker it becomes. It is a refuge for broken hearts and shattered spirits, but at the same time, it is also a fortress for experienced spiritual healers. The first-time entrants find it difficult and scary at the beginning but the deeper they go, the more they feel at home.
