Spiritual healers are people who use the wisdom extracted from their shame and pain to inspire others to heal themselves. The spiritual healer uses words to heal broken spirits. The words of a spiritual healer are like arrows laced with antidepressants on their very sharp tips. These arrows pierce deep into the wounds of the broken spirit and rupture the membranes like that of a woman about to enter into labour.
Words are like double edge swords and carry enormous spiritual powers when used appropriately; the soothing effect is a joy to behold. The healing words erupt like a volcano from the depths of the spirit of the healer and most times the novice healer has no idea where they originate from and cannot comprehend the effectiveness of the therapy.
The psycho-spiritual composition of these words is still a mystery to me. Words are the outward/physical expressions of intense spiritual reactions which is the everyday life of the healer. Never judge a book by its cover and never judge people by their appearance. Nobody knows what goes on inside the hearts of men and women.
